Butchers Grill’s premier location along Waterfront City’s picturesque promenade, lends itself perfectly for a wonderful Mediterranean experience.
Restaurant Manager John Goff’s passion for quality and exceptional service exceeded expectations as he meticulously provided professional guidance through the food and beverage menus.
The traditional grilled scored pork sausage entrée was midly smoked, flavoured with robust spices served with flavoursome tomato concassé.
Simply brilliant! Opting to sample a mini banquet for the main affair, John proudly presented the Mixed Grill – an array of precision grilled meats.
Balkan style beef and pork Chevapchichis, mince Sarska Pleskavica filled with kashkaval cheese, succulent lamb cutlets, and beef and pork Raznjici – were all inspired by the ethos of ‘simple food done well’. John also selected a light and refreshing Shopska – Balkan salad to cut through the richness of the aged beef and perfectly complimented with a bottle of 2005 Kangarilla Rd Sangiovese.
Dessert was sublime and presented by Head Chef, Ben James. Layers of nougat and almond sponge with a zesty citrus sauce was heightened with a glass of Kruskova, a Croatian fine pear liqueur.
You can now enjoy a taste of Europe 7 days a week in Docklands without the hassle of traveling abroad.

It made us visit inside. Then we were surprised!
There is a nice European atmosphere.
You may have many visitors from Japan in this festive season.
They are all seeking good steak restaurants.

This restaurant opened only 2 weeks prior to this article.
Interior has a classy European feeling and they have friendly professional service, but prices are not too much.
The owner shoed us around and explained everything with the passion.
Menu is Mediterranean plus flavor of Macedonian where the owner came from.
Not only top steaks are great but also they have nice seafood, grilled food and salad etc.
They value the quality of ingredients and appreciate fresh taste of dishes.
Scallops are very sweet, matched well with mash and pork.
Calamari is good with beer.
Chevapchichi is very tasty.
Two salads we tried are fresh and great with meat dishes.
And of course their steak is excellent. Way they cook will satisfy your visitors.
Don’t forget beautiful sweets in the end.
You can finish you meal with a special pear liqueur.

My Boyfriend and I had dinner at your Bourke St restaurant on Friday, 19th Feb 2010 and was soooooo pleased with food and fantastic service that I thought I would write in and share it with everyone. We are very fussy with our steaks and cutlets and you didn't fail to please. My Lamb Cutlets and my boyfriends Yearling T-Bone Steak was AMAZING. I have to say they were one of the best cutlets I have ever tasted. I have to admit, having not been to your restaurant before and just going off the name 'Butchers Grill' we were not expecting such a beautiful restaurant nor a fine dinning experience so we were both very pleasantly surprised. Food rating: 10, Service rating: 10, Atmosphere rating: 10. I don't normally give any establishment a 10 for anything, but Butchers Grill deserves a top rating. I had the rib eye and quite frankly it was the best steak I've had in a very long time. My partner had the seafood platter for one and he gave that top marks. The staff were attentive without being annoying and they knew their stuff. The ambience was just great. Booked a table for 8 and we sat in the private funtion room WOW. The room is just unbelievable, just stunning... We were served by an canadian waitress which was her first nite and she did o.k.. Now for the food ,,, entree I ordered the salt and pepper calamari 8.5 /10. Wife ordered the oysters kilpatricks excellent......for the main I had the 500g t-bone (medium a must) too big to eat cooked perfectly to my likeing presentation 9-10 quality 8-10 wife had the banquet excellent as well good variety i must say... staff were down to earth people.Overall all of us had an excellent nite well done....
